On this episode of Strata Stories, we talk with Jake Irwin, the owner of Pro Performance PT. We dive into:
1. The advantages of paying clinicians on a per visit basis
2. Shifting the risk and reward from owners to therapists
3. Why every therapist is a sales person
4. Tactical advice on how therapists can generate clients for themselves
5. And lastly, the importance of being a part of the community in order to generate referrals
Episode Highlight: “The patient shows up, you get paid. If they don’t show up, that’s not my problem. If you don’t get them scheduled, if you don’t provide quality care and they don’t come back, they don’t want to see you, they want to see somebody else, then that’s not going to come out of my end. Right? So the idea was to just shift some of the risk from me to the provider. But in that same vein, some of the reward.”
